Tales of the Cocktail® visitors can get a taste of New Orleans culture with excursions to
Laura Plantation and Metairie Cemetery.
NEW ORLEANS, LA—April 19, 2011 – Those visiting New Orleans for the 9th Annual Tales of the Cocktail® this summer will have two special opportunities to venture beyond the French Quarter for a bit of New Orleans culture. For the first time, Tales of the Cocktail® is offering two New Orleans Excursions on Sunday, July 24 with cocktail tours of Laura Plantation and the Metairie Cemetery. As a festival that not only celebrates cocktails, but also the unique and flavorful culture of New Orleans, these excursions add a completely new dimension to the Tales of the Cocktail® experience.
“There’s so much to see beyond the French Quarter,” said Ann Tuennerman, founder of Tales of the Cocktail®. “I’m happy that these excursions will give members of the cocktail community the opportunity to dive a little deeper into New Orleans’ culture.”
