Heard randomly from TOTC-ers as they milled around with their first (or not first, I’m not judging) drinks:
“Now THIS is my favourite kind of registration process…”
“There’s Chris McMillian! We spent three hours with him at his bar in New Orleans and it was the most amazing thing ever!”
“I’m getting hockey anxiety for tomorrow night. I’ve got tickets, but I don’t want to miss the parties…”
“That’s a good drink. In that it doesn’t taste like booze.”
“Is this angostura bitters for leprechauns?”
“I’m going to try the Don Julio for my first drink. And for my second and third drinks.”
“You didn’t see that. That didn’t just happen.”
Registration is winding down, and a bus will take people from the Fairmont to the party for the CPBA at Vancouver Aquarium – does that mean we all have to drink like fish? Later, the official opening party, hosted by Gibson’s Finest Canadian Whisky, will be happening at Terminal City Club. Be there, and let’s make this all official.
