This complimentary event will preview what’s in store at Tales of the Cocktail 2011 and celebrate the countdown with a cocktail toast.
WHAT: With Tales of the Cocktail 2011 just a short six months away, it’s time to kick off the countdown to what’s sure to me the most spirited event of next summer. Ann Tuennerman and the rest of the Tales of the Cocktail team welcomes the media, the bartending community and cocktail lovers everywhere to join them at the Hotel Monteleone’s Carousel Bar for a toast of Vieux Carrés as we preview the events that will be shaking things up at the ninth annual Tales of the Cocktail.
Adding an especially artistic twist to this complimentary event, renowned New Orleans artist Frenchy will paint the official 2011 Tales of the Cocktail poster live onsite.

The New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society is a non-profit organization committed to preserving the unique culture of cocktails and cuisine in New Orleans and beyond. Since it’s founding in 2006 the NOCCPS has supported members of the hospitality industry through educational opportunities such as the Flo Woodward Scholarship and the Cocktail Apprentice Scholarship Program as well as the production of events like Tales of the Cocktail.
