TALES OF THE COCKTAIL – VANCOUVER KICKS OFF WITH A TOAST
This complimentary event brings together the members of the Canadian Professional Bartenders Association and friends to share a toast to celebrate the countdown to Tales of the Cocktail on Tour – Vancouver.
WHAT: With Tales of the Cocktail on Tour – Vancouver just sixty days away, Ann Tuennerman, founder of Tales of the Cocktail, wants to welcome everyone to join her for a toast to kick off the countdown to the most spirited event of the Spring. Ann will be joined by members of the Canadian Professional Bartenders Association at Boneta Restaurant in Vancouver as they discuss what’s in store at Tales of the Cocktail on Tour.
This complimentary event will bring a little bit of New Orleans to Vancouver as attendees will share a toast of Vieux Carrés, the classic cocktail created in 1934 at New Orleans’ legendary Hotel Monteleone. Additionally, during this event the winner first-ever Vancouver Cocktail Competition will be announced.
For eight years Tales of the Cocktail® has been bringing cocktail aficionados from around the world to New Orleans, for the most spirited event of the year. Tales of the Cocktail on Tour – Vancouver marks the first time this internationally acclaimed cocktail festival will be taking it show beyond the French Quarter. This first mini-festival will be held in Vancouver, March 13-15, 2011, and will feature a series of events and seminars designed to give everyone a taste of what’s in store at Tales of the Cocktail® 2011.
