Spot-on, Chuck, and welcome home. While none of your chosen eateries will be anything but fantastic, I URGE you to be sure to get to Boucherie, where the celebration of cocktails is honored w/ a few of their own. James Devio does a creditable job out front, and Master Nathan’s dishes are clearly among the best (‘new’) dishes being purveyed. I’m leaving town for a month, and’ll not be able to join in. Enjoy; I know you will.

Seconded on the Jambalaya at Coop’s Place!
Order the ‘Supreme’, it comes with chicken, shrimp, rabbit, andoille sausage and tasso ham!
Also the burgers are huge and awesome! When the waitress came to take our plates away, she looked at my hubby’s scraped clean plate (he had the cheeseburger)and said “so you thought that was OK right?!”.
I’m currently working on my own food porn blog from our recent trip. I will post it here when it’s done!

Chuck- You just blew my mind. I have to take out a loan from the bank or get another credit card because now I have to eat my way through your list. I cut and pasted it into Word and it’s 16 pages!
